BOTTLE WAXING MACHINE
In 2014, OKJ Concept developed its Automatic Waxing Machine Wax 4.1 in partnership with a winemaker. This innovative machine, designed to apply a thin layer of wax to the top of wine corks, is patented.
The principle is based on controlling the oxygen exchange with the wine. While these exchanges are essential for the wine’s development, they must remain carefully regulated. By limiting excessive air exposure, the Wax 4.1 helps slow down premature oxidation, particularly in white wines, while ensuring the long-term quality of the bottles.
Beyond its technical function, this process also provides an effective anti-counterfeiting solution, as the applied wax serves as a visual marker that is difficult to replicate.
